The cosplay subculture has promoted camaraderie, creativity, and openness since it's birth in the late 1990's. Cosplay has become a safe haven for most nerds, a place where they could show off their dedication and love for a character to a like-minded group. ReplyDeleteI think this is a great overview of harassment in cons; as a writing piece it's a well thought out listicle. That said, it's not really an infographic - it seems to be missing the core visual aspect. I would love to see this reworked with more of a visual aspect.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Viscus. This serves as a great list, maybe even a typographic poster but it should be gleaned down to represent things graphically with less text. Consider adding some of your characters to the list next to the headings and taking out the paragraphs. I think that would give it a much more graphical representation.
Great ideas, I really admire your passion for this subject.
